Question of the Month of January, 2000 - Michel Fortin

The following is Michel Fortin's brief answer to a question selected among hundreds if not thousands that he receives each week. For more information on critique consultations, see http://SuccessDoctor.com/booster.htm.

From the Internet Marketing Challenge Private Discussion Forums
"My question is quite simple. I'm trying to publish an ezine but have been having trouble. Namely, keeping track of article contributions and formatting my newsletters properly (such as wrapping them at 65 characters) have been my biggest challenge. Any suggestions?"

Mark Joyner offers an excellent new tool for ezine publishers. It helps to keep track of ads, articles, content and ezine issues. I downloaded it myself and checked it out. And ... So far, so good. In reality, this nifty little tool is really a good
viral marketing tool for Mark himself, since in return for downloading and using it you must register your ezine with him, and also accept ads and article submissions from Mark's site. He calls it "favorware." I call it brilliant.

At any rate, it is also a great example of how you too, as Internet marketers, can apply viral marketing methods in your own business. Nevetheless, download this free tool at
http://www.ezineassistant.com.

If you want to use separate tools, I recommend TextPad -- at
http://www.textpad.com. This plain text editor is like Microsoft's Notepad on steroids. Loaded with functions, it's really effective especially for hard-breaking word wraps at 65 characters. Another application is called Ezine AdSwap Tracker Pro at http://www.homebasedprofit.com/east/, which keeps tabs on your ad swaps with other ezine publishers -- another great "must-have" tool.

Good luck!
